Early Literacy Programs
Please inform the library at 354-8232 or text 405-252-9288 to text-chat with a librarian through GABBIE, if your child is no longer able to attend. This will help us prepare the correct amount of materials or allow a child on the waitlist to attend.

A fun, 20-minute session geared toward your child's developmental abilities. Parent's will join in the fun as we learning through reading as well as movement and music! (Preschool Prep excluded)

Wigglers Storytime
January 5 - April 27 Mondays 10:00am - 10:25am
Storytime offers stories, songs, rhymes, bounces, and lots of fun for babies from newborn to crawling. Space is limited to 20 participants and one caregiver per participant per program time. Children must attend with an adult. Storytime begins at 10:00 am and runs for 25 minutes.

Little Movers Storytime
January 5 - April 27 Mondays 10:45am - 11:10am
Storytime offers stories, songs, rhymes, bounces, and lots of fun for children taking wobbly steps to precariously walking. Space is limited to 20 participants and one caregiver per participant per program time. Children must attend with an adult. Storytime begins at 10:45 am and runs for 25 minutes.

Happy Feet Storytime
January 5 - April 27 Mondays 11:30am - 11:55am
Storytime offers stories, songs, rhymes, bounces, and lots of fun for children who are fully walking to running. Space is limited to 20 participants and one caregiver per participant per program time. Children must attend with an adult. Storytime begins at 11:30 am and runs for 25 minutes.

Wednesdays
Preschool Prep Storytime
January 7 - April 29 Wednesdays 10:00am - 10:45am
Sing, dance, giggle, and learn! In this 45 minute weekly class children will listen to stories, complete crafts, and learn other skills and independence to get ready for their future classrooms. Space is limited to 30 participants per program time. Children must attend without an adult. Storytime begins promptly at 10:00 am and runs for 45 minutes. Advance registration for these programs is required.

I ♥ Art: Blend, Smudge, Create!
January 20 Tuesday 4:00pm - 5:00pm
January 21 Wednesday 4:00pm - 5:00pm
A hands-on workshop where kids explore oil pastels. Elementary-aged artists will dive into the colorful world of oil pastels. Kids will learn how to blend colors, smudge for soft textures, and layer to create bold, vibrant artwork.

Reading to Dogs 
January 26 Monday 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Reading to Dogs promotes reading and communication skills by allowing children to read aloud to a registered therapy dog. Participants have the opportunity to sign up for 5-10 minute reading sessions with a furry pal and make a craft. Please sign up for one of the time ranges. (Depending on the number of attendees and canine companions present, sessions may be extended or repeated.)

The Mushiest, Smushiest Valentine Crafternoon 
February 11 Wednesday 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Come for a fun and silly Valentine's crafternoon. Knock Knock - Who's there?Luke - Luke who? Luke who got a valentine!! Join us at the Library for a story, games, and some fun crafts that you can give to your favorite people for Valentine's Day. This event is for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

LEGO® Challenge

Join us for a LEGO® Challenge! Participants will be given a unique task to solve, either individually or as a team. The challenges are sometimes silly, sometimes STEAM-y, and always fun! This event is for children in 3rd through 5th grade.

Let’s Roll!: Kimbap Making Workshop

Get ready to roll (some Kimbap!) Taehi Kim will teach us how to make the popular and versatile Korean dish! In this hands-on class, you'll learn the essential techniques for preparation, rolling, and slicing to create (and eat!) your own delicious rolls.

Cook the Book!

Cookbook Club Meets Potluck. Participants visit the library to pick a recipe from Modern Comfort Food, by Ina Garten, cook it at home, then bring the finished dish to the library to share and enjoy together. A relaxed, potluck-style program celebrating cookbooks, conversation, and community.

Pokémon Party
