Yukon Police Department Hosts “No-Shave November” Fundraiser
You might notice something a little different around the Yukon Police Department this month. Members of the Yukon Police Department are participating in No-Shave November to raise funds for United Way of Canadian County.
No-Shave November is a month-long event which participants forgo shaving. Officers will each pay $100 to put down their razors for the month of November and grow facial hair. All proceeds go to United Way of Canadian County.
“This is a fun way for us to give back to the community,” said Cpt. Matt Hofer of the Yukon Police Department. “We are thrilled to raise proceeds for United Way of Canadian County, because all of the funds raised will stay in Canadian County.”
