Roll into Mabel C. Fry Public Library for Bike Repair
Spring is here and the sun is out! It’s time to dust off those bikes! Join Mabel C. Fry Public Library Saturday, April 21, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am as Jason Wiley of Yukon BMX Raceway teaches the basics of bicycle repair and maintenance. “Pedal Into Spring” is a free workshop for all kinds of bicycle care, from flat tires to slipping chains.
“This program is exciting in the fact that it will give confidence to the attendees to try new things and work with their hands,” said Shawna Deeds, Adult Programmer.
Attendees are invited to bring in their own or their child’s bicycles and follow along as Wiley instructs them on the basics of bicycle repair and maintenance.
This free program is a part of the Do It Yourself, Yukon series. Do It Yourself, Yukon, or DIYY, aims to provide opportunities for the community to learn new skills.
Pre-registration is required and can be completed online by going to www.mabelcfrypubliclibrary.comand clicking on programs or by calling or visiting the library.
