Parks & Recreation Announces Second Session of Summer Fitness Classes
Yukon Parks and Recreation invites you to get fit and healthy this summer at its new satellite location: First Church of the Nazarene, 525 E. Main Street. The second session of Summer Fitness Classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 10 through August 2.
YoPila class starts at 9:00 a.m. Bring your mat and get in touch with your inner self while strengthening your core, gaining flexibility, balance and coordination. This class offers an excellent combination of Yoga and Pilates in a fun, laid back environment. Experience the health benefits of strengthening opposing muscle groups, increasing joint and spine health, and lowering blood pressure and cholesterol.
Muscle Toning and Strengthening class starts at 10:15 a.m. Bring your 5 pound weights and enjoy the benefits of increasing bone density, muscular strength and endurance, as well as developing lean muscle mass.
Classes are $25 each per month or $35 for both per month. Join NETA Certified Instructor Jerri Ellis and enjoy feeling healthy and strong in a fun environment!
