Parks & Recreation Announces March/April Fitness Classes
Yukon Parks & Recreation invite you to get fit and healthy this winter at Yukon Community Center, 2200 S. Holly Ave. The third session of classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 5ththrough April 4th.
YoPila class starts at 9:00 a.m. Get in touch with your inner self while strengthening your core, increasing flexibility, balance and coordination. This class offers an excellent combination of Yoga and Pilates in a fun, laid back environment with health benefits of strengthening opposing muscle groups, increasing joint and spine health, and lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. Bring your mat and join us for all of the great health benefits this class has to offer.
Muscle Toning & Strengthening class starts at 10:15 a.m. Bring your 5-pound weights and enjoy the benefits of increasing bone density, muscular strength and endurance, as well as developing lean muscle mass.
Classes are $25 each per month or $35 for both per month. Join NETA Certified Instructor Jerri Ellis and enjoy feeling healthy and strong in a fun environment! Sign up for March Session today and get the remainder of February free!
