Oklahoma Author presents new book at Mabel C. Fry Public Library
On Tuesday, April 10, from 7pm to 8pm, the Mabel C. Fry Public Library hosts Regina Jennings, a historical fiction author. Jennings will present her newest novel, “Holding the Fort,” which is based in Canadian county at historic Fort Reno.
RT Book Reviews says, “The first book in Jennings’ new Fort Reno series is a delightful read that helps solidify what a wonderful and imaginative writer Jennings is. She manages to create unique stories with interesting and well-developed characters while combining humor, mystery and a sprinkle of faith. Holding the Fort demonstrates that everyone makes mistakes, relationships aren’t perfect and forgiveness is key for reconciliation. Jennings really has a way with words. Quite frankly, the last chapter just might be the best (and sweetest) in the whole book.”
Jennings is a wife, a homeschooling mother of four, a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, and a voracious reader. She says of becoming an author, “secret dream of mine came true.”
