FREE Concerts at the Park Return with Classic Rock!
After a short break for Freedom Fest, Concerts in the Park continues on July 12 with Classic Rock from The Brothers. Head to Chisholm Trail Park at 7:00 p.m. for a FREE night on music!
Bring lawn chairs and enjoy a fun evening of music and community! Concessions, which help keep the concerts free, will be available for purchase.
While “The Brothers” is a semi-new name to many, the members of the band should be very familiar. “The Brothers” have actually been playing together for a very long time. If you remember or followed “Pearl”, “The Guitar Bums”, “The Dave Thomason Band”, or “Zoom City”, you should enjoy The Brothers. These guys have been having fun, and playing together in one form or another for over 35 years.
The Brothers are:
John Gleason: Guitar, vocals
Dave Thomason: Guitar, Keys, vocals
Chris Henderson: Drums
Bronson Warren: Bass
Mark Landrith: Guitar, vocals
The Brothers feature, not only their tight three-part vocal harmonies, but also their guitar driven, classic rock format. Their show is filled with songs that you’ll not only enjoy, but will also most likely, know all the words, and want to sing along with. If you enjoy classic rock, good vocals, and excellent guitar work, you’ll enjoy The Brothers!
Concerts in the Park continues on July 19 with Jazz from Irv Wagner’s Jazz Combo.
