First Aid, CPR/AED training classes offered at the Yukon Community Center
Become American Red Cross certified in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) at the Yukon Community Center! Yukon Parks and Recreation is pleased to offer certification courses on three convenient Saturdays: October 15, November 12 and December 17.
The course is four hours total, taking place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Three hours are dedicated to class time, and the final hour is designated for tests in First Aid, CPR and AED. Each individual that passes the course receives a two-year certification.
The class follows the American Red Cross curriculum in first aid care procedures for infants, children and adults. It also teaches individuals the lifesaving procedures and steps in CPR and proper use of an AED.
The course is $45 per individual. Individuals must be age 14 or older to participate. Register at the Yukon Community Center today!
