‘Concerts in the Park’ series opens June 7
Yukon Parks and Recreation’s summer concert series opens with “Bark at the Park” night on Thursday, June 7, at Chisholm Trail Park Gazebo. Smilin’ Vic and the Soul Monkeys will play blues, soul, and Motown music from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
It’s Dollar Hot Dog Night! Other concessions that night are chips, cold drinks and cookies. Proceeds from concessions offset the cost of the bands and keep the concerts free to the public.
Dog enthusiasts are welcome to bring their dogs out for special contests starting at 7:00 p.m. Registration starts at 6:30 p.m. Awards are given for best trick, costume, bark and others exciting endeavors.

The next concert on Thursday, June 14 will feature Crimson Faith playing classic rock and family-friendly music.
