City of Yukon Names 2018 Employee of the Year

The City of Yukon selects an outstanding employee for the Employee of the Year Award every year, and this year that honor goes to Battalion Chief Jimmy White of the Yukon Fire Department.
White was presented the Employee of the Year Award on December 7. His family surprised him by being present to see him receive the award. He has served the City of Yukon for 29 Years. Fellow employees describe him as dedicated, caring, and an outstanding leader, and they noted that he puts the City of Yukon first and tries to make a difference every day.
City employees participate in two rounds of voting to elect the award recipient. Other candidates for the award were Jay Ross and Jason Worden.
