Yukon is Open for Business
The City of Yukon issued a proclamation encouraging local businesses to open back up as soon as possible. Mayor Shelli Selby signed the document on Wednesday May 27, 2020.
“Yukon is doing an excellent job following state guidelines of social distancing and other precautions to protect against the coronavirus,” said Selby. “Businesses should feel confident to open their doors as we enter the final phase of the Governor’s Open Up and Recover Safely plan.”
The Open Up and Recover Safely (OURS) plan is a three-phased approach implemented by Governor Stitt’s office to open Oklahoma’s economy back up. It began on April 24, and phase three is set to begin June 1.
