City of Yukon Updates Declaration of Emergency - July 10, 2020
The City of Yukon has updated their declaration of emergency. Mayor Shelli Selby signed the update on Friday, July 10, 2020.
Bars are no longer required to operate at 50 percent capacity. The following guidelines are still in place:
- The City of Yukon is requiring all employees of bars and restaurants to wear masks at all times.
- The City of Yukon requires that any venue using theater-style seating will implement staggered seating, either by the closure of every other row or the functional equivalent, with at least two seats between separate parties.
- The City of Yukon requires any member of the public entering a City of Yukon building to wear a mask at all times while in the building.
The City of Yukon intends to follow the remaining guidelines for other types of businesses and public access to other facilities as outlined in the state’s Open Up and Recover Safely (OURS) plan. Please check back with the City’s website, www.yukonok.gov/covid19, and official social media accounts for updates.
