See Christmas in the Park from a Fun Perspective!

The Santa Express Train will offer a fun way to view beautiful Christmas lights during Yukon’s Christmas in the Park, which runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. every night through New Year’s Eve.

Santa Express rides are available every night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for $2 per person, weather permitting.  Children under age three ride for free. Tickets may be purchased at the Train Depot at Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W Vandament. The Santa Express loops through holiday displays and passes through a festive 100-foot tunnel. Parking is available in the Oklahoma Parking Lot, which is near the park entrance.

Christmas in the Park includes tours of Yukon City Park, 2200 S Holly, Freedom Trail Playground, 2101 S Holly and the Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W Vandament.  Motorists drive their personal vehicles along illuminated paths to view Christmas lights. The three parks interconnect and are lavishly decorated top to bottom with 4 million twinkling lights and over 425 one of a kind displays.  Many displays are animated, change in color and play music.  Admission is free and donations, which help fund the annual event, are merrily accepted at the Chisholm Trail Park and City Park exits.

Each of the three parks comprising the annual event offers unique displays that collectively create an amazing holiday wonderland. Young and old alike will love taking photos in the new selfie stations! Various costumed Christmas characters are often in the parks and are happy to pose for photos.
