Quality programs are available for patrons of all ages, including baby story fun, preschool story time and various offerings for school-aged children, teens and adults, including a summer reading program.

2017 Early Literacy Summer Reading Program
For children birth through Kindergarten in the Fall of 2017.
June 1 - July 31
Parents and children will work together to develop and
enhance their child’s pre-literacy and early literacy skills.
Parents are given a log with a list of rewarding activities
to complete with their children during the summer.
Starting July 18th until August 1st once participants complete
their log, parents may return it for a prize.

2017 Elementary Summer Reading Program
For children entering grades 1-5 in the fall of 2017
June 1 - July 25
Sign-ups start at the Library Thursday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m.
Participants will receive a reading bag filled with
a reading log, bookmark, stickers, and a Chick-fil-A coupon.
Advance registration for each spirited program except Kickoff is required.
Registration begins the Thursday before each
Tuesday’s presentation, starting at 11:00 a.m.
Register by clicking on the title of the program you would like to attend
and it will take you to Eventbrite for easy registration.
Entries for quality summer reading prizes will be given for each book read
and incentives will be handed out as specific reading goals are met.
2017 Young Adult Summer Reading Program
Students entering grades 6-12 in the Fall of 2017.
June 8 - July 27
Registration for the Kick-off day program begins Thursday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m.
Students must register in advance to attend the weekly programs. Registration for the weekly programs begins June 8 at 10:00 a.m.
Prize drawing entries are given for each hour of reading recorded on the reading log.
Weekly prize drawings are held every Thursday.
