Quality programs are available for patrons of all ages, including baby story fun, preschool story time and various offerings for school-aged children, teens and adults, including a summer reading program.

Early Literacy (Ages 0-5)

Early Literacy Summer Reading Program

Complete fun activities with your children for prizes! EngagedPatrons.org is our new online platform for recording activities this summer. Register beginning June 1st and complete the online activity log for prizes at the end of the summer. If you are unable to use the online platform, call the library at 354-8232 to get a paper activity log. 

The last date for early literacy activity submissions is July 31. Prizes will be awarded in early August.

Children's (Grades K-5)

Children’s Summer Reading 2020

Free virtual programs each Tuesday in June and the opportunity to read for prizes through July.

Things might not be like summers past, but let’s rewrite the next chapter of our story! We’re adapting our traditional Summer Reading Program, offering new online registration and participant tracking, virtual programs and more. You can still participate in two different ways, through virtual programs brought to us by local, loved presenters and through the reading of books.

Young Adult Summer Reading 2020

Students entering grades 6 -12 in the Fall of 2020

Imagine your story this summer with Mabel C. Fry Public Library for a celebration of myths, fairy tales, and fantasy!
Summer Reading is going virtual! Starting June 1st, students will have the opportunity to earn prizes by logging their time spent reading on the library’s new online tracking log. Time will be recorded in hour increments. The more you read, the greater your chances are to win! 


Teen programs will begin in July will occur virtually on the library’s Facebook page. Activities will include a fun fandom take-home activity from Science Museum Oklahoma and informational sessions for Dungeons & Dragons adventurers.

The last day to turn in reading hours is July 31.
